Meet Legal Assistant Maria Cabrera

As a Legal Assistant at Cairns Law Offices, Maria Cabrera assists in all administrative protocol and human resources procedures. Her bilingual language skills have been beneficial to help serve Spanish-speaking clients to better understand the legal process within their Family Law matter.

Originally from Latin America, Maria spent her childhood in Nicaragua and Honduras. In 2017, Maria came to the United States after serving for 10 years as a Document Management Officer for the European Union Embassy. She worked in the Political, Law and Information section of the EU Delegation to Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama.

Outside of work, Maria enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures. She also enjoys dancing, climbing volcanoes, and sand boarding.
