Pennsylvania has attracted visitors from all over the world, why not take advantage of what you have in your own home state. Divorce can take it's toll, and new perspective can help sweeten your view of things.

Fourteen miles east of Harrisburg you can find yourself in a charming and magical place. Hershey is known as the home of Hershey chocolates where you can take a tour through Hershey's chocolate factory. You will be walked through the process of how cacao beans are transformed into some of our favorite chocolate candy. Free samples are given and admission is free.

While at the Hershey factory you can even make your own candy bar. Not only do you get to select ingredients for your chocolate bar, but you get to design the packaging too. There is a fee charged for this hands-on activity.

Food and beverages are not permitted when making your candy bar. Also, you will be provided with a head covering, since this is a real manufacturing facility. Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult.

There are several activities for visitors to pick from while at the Hershey's Chocolate World. The Dessert Creation Studio happily provides you with ingredients to make your chocolate delights. Hershey candy toppings are a fun way to decorate cookies and cupcakes. You can even get your picture and personalized phrase on a Hershey's candy bar.

Outside the Hershey factory there are plenty of other sites to visit. Hershey Garden gives you a great way to spend the day outdoors exploring over twenty-three acres. The rose garden is reported to have over seven thousand blooming buds. Also, there is an outdoor seasonal butterfly house.

Hershey Park is an amusement park which offers a variety of rides. There are rides available for different ages, from kiddie rides, to water rides and coasters. If you live near Harrisburg or right outside of Hershey you may want to consider getting a seasonal pass.

Looking for a trip back in time? The Antique Auto Museum provides a friendly atmosphere to visitors. Eight decades worth of automobiles, buses and memorabilia are displayed. Moreover, a miniature railroad is also available to ride on.

You may want to combine your trip with another place to visit. Lancaster County is just thirty minutes from Hershey. If you have additional time you may want to consider traveling a little farther and adding Gettysburg as part of your uncontested divorce escape.
