In 1995 Dr. Madan Kataria, an Indian physician, launched a laughter club incorporating principles of laughter yoga. The sensation has grown from a handful of people to worldwide phenomena. So what is laughter yoga?

Laughter yoga combines yogic breathing with unconditional laughter. Participants go through laughing exercises in a group while playfully engaging in the session.
