Name Removal Available Anytime During the Process

This is available any time during the divorce proceeding. Just send us a clear copy of the present deed as recorded (do not send the original), and we will prepare a new deed with the appropriate party's name removed. Tell us whether the husband's or wife's name is being removed. Note that even though a name can be removed from your deed, both names will remain on any mortgage(s) on the property, unless the person receiving the property refinances the mortgage in his/her own name.
